• Interest and Commitment: PSPO training is designed for individuals who want to deepen their knowledge and skills in the role of a Product Owner. Your genuine interest in product development, Scrum, and improving your ability to deliver value to stakeholders is essential.
• Preparation: It’s recommended to review the Scrum Guide thoroughly and refresh your knowledge of Scrum principles and practices before attending PSPO training. This will help you have a strong foundation to build upon during the course.
• Experience Sharing: Be prepared to share your real-world experiences and challenges related to product ownership during the training. PSPO training often includes discussions and exercises that involve applying Scrum concepts to practical scenarios.
• Active Participation: PSPO training is highly interactive, and participants are encouraged to actively engage in discussions, exercises, and case studies. Come with a willingness to collaborate with others and learn from their experiences as well.
• Certification: While not always mandatory, many training providers and organizations prefer candidates to have already achieved the Professional Scrum Master™ I (PSM I) certification as a prerequisite. PSPO builds upon the foundational knowledge covered in PSM I.
