The Symantec Backup Exec 2014: Administration course is designed for data protection professionals responsible for the backup and restoration of critical data. This five-day, Instructor-led course provides hands-on training on data backup and restoration, storage device configuration, media management, and maintaining the Backup Exec database. Participants will also learn how to configure and utilize various Backup Exec Agents, including those for Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft SharePoint, and Microsoft SQL. The course further covers the usage of Virtual Environment Agents and the Deduplication Option, providing a comprehensive understanding of administering Symantec Backup Exec 2014.

This course is designed for system administrators, system engineers, technical support personnel, consultants, network administrators, backup administrators, backup operators, and others who are responsible for installing, configuring, and administering Backup Exec 2014.

You must have basic working knowledge of administration and configuration of the Windows Server 2008 and Windows Server 2012 platforms. You must also have experience configuring server software and hardware. Basic working knowledge of domain security and experience with Active Directory and Windows Server 2008 and Windows Server 2012 are recommended.
