The Veritas InfoScale Storage 7.3 for UNIX/Linux: Advanced Administration course focuses on providing IT professionals with in-depth knowledge and practical skills to effectively integrate, manage, operate, and utilize the advanced features of Veritas InfoScale Storage in a UNIX/Linux environment.

During the course, participants will explore the advanced features offered by InfoScale Storage, including Dynamic Multi-Pathing, Smart Tiering, Docker support, Performance Tuning, and Snapshots. They will learn how to configure and optimize these features to enhance storage performance, efficiency, and data protection in their UNIX/Linux environments.

The course covers important topics such as managing the VxVM Private Region, understanding different disk layouts, and effectively managing disk groups. Participants will also gain hands-on experience in building volumes from scratch, performing disk group split, move and joins operations, and implementing volume relayout and volume sets. They will learn about multivolume file systems, online file system administration, and advanced techniques for remote mirroring across sites. Additionally, participants will explore offline and offhost processing using volume snapshots and storage checkpoints, as well as dynamic storage tiering to optimize storage resources based on application requirements.
